Long Lived Blacklight
Born as Blacklight Shines On, this album is already half the age of Koil as a band. The title was trimmed to just Blacklight when Koil collaborated with a major label on the distribution of the album.
Their passion for reconstructing their own songs makes Koil never run out of stock, in every re-release Blacklight always includes additional tracks. Of course, so that those of you who already have the previous version, have a reason to buy the Blacklight CD again.
The Blacklight era was a time when my teammates and I had great energy to spend more time as fans.
Chasing their stages, from the warmth of the Fame Station, the lively Hard Rock concert, the magnificent Sabuga concert, to the crowded field with the Slank flag waving. Guessing on the set list that they will bring, which often begins with Hiburan Ringan and ends with Matahari. Networking with friends from out of town, making bootleg t-shirts, up to 2 tribute albums which were finally realized. We recorded everything in a fansite as well as a fanzine.
What a great time, we are happy fans. Long live Blacklight, vive le Koil!
